UPDATE - MARCH 2012

A BIG THANKS to all participants together with those people involved in providing support to enable the 2011 event to take place. A presentation evening was held at Lutterworth Town Hall on Wednesday 28th March 2012 when representatives from charities together with our main sponsors gathered in order to celebrate another successful Lutterworth Santa Fun Run. When entering the event, participants selected the charities they wanted to support and cheques were presented to:

  • Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance £2550

  • Coping with Cancer £1910

  •  Prostate Cancer Charities £1150

  • Lutterworth Mayor's Appeal £1000

  • Rainbows Children's Hospice £2000

  • Rotary Charities £1000

  • Other donations raised at SFR for charities and good causes amounted to £1975.

The organising Rotary Clubs are delighted at the outcome and are now busy setting up this years event which takes place on Sunday 2nd December - do please make a diary note!
